Henry Street’s Adult Literacy Program prepares adults age 18 and above to take the GED exam. Three levels of classes are offered: Adult Basic Education, Pre-HSE and HSE. Each class prepares students in math, reading, and writing. All participants take an assessment test so they are placed in the proper class. Free classes are offered weekday mornings and afternoons, both onsite and virtually.
