Temporary Financial Assistance (TFA) program awards cash assistance of up to $1,500 to minor children whose families are American Legion members or on current active duties. The funds help families pay for food, shelter, utilities, and health expenses.
Eligibility Requirements
Child must be 17 or younger, or 20 if still enrolled in high school or physically handicapped. The child must be the biological child, stepchild, or in the legal custody of a qualifying veteran.,
