The LAFLA Torture Survivors Project helps immigrant asylum seekers, asylees, and refugees who are survivors of torture that occurred outside the United States with legal assistance, case management, and community education. Attorneys help clients complete the asylum application (for qualified applicants), deportation defense in court (for qualified applicants), work permit, travel documents, family reunification, adjustment of Status to Lawful Permanent Resident, and naturalization.
