Kingsborough Community College offers free courses in English as a Second Language (ESL) and High School Equivalency (HSE) plus a range of training and certificate programs to qualifying participants who receive SNAP benefits. The training and certificate programs include a selection of medical programs Certified Nurse Aide (CAN); Patient Care Technician for CNAs; Clinical Medical Assistant; EKG Technician; Emergency Medical Technician (EMT); Certified Home Health Aide (HHA); Pharmacy Technician; Phlebotomy Technician); and Paralegal; Accounting; Medical Billing and Coding; and Administrative Assistant certifications.
