Henry Street Settlement Information Status

The Third Street Women’s Residence provides transitional shelter and supportive services to women experiencing homelessness who have mental illness concerns. Women seeking shelter must first apply through the Coordinated Entry System at the HELP Women's Shelter or Franklin Shelter.
Eligibility Requirements
Women/girls, Experiencing homelessness, Available to women experiencing homelessness who have mental illness concerns. Must be referred to the facility from assessment centers and/or by the New York City Department of Homeless Services., Adults (18+)
Documentation Needed to Enroll
If you have it: 1) Any form of ID with a picture and proof of age (driver's license, state-issued ID, passport or visa, welfare card or green card); 2) Social Security card; 3) Medicaid card, if available; 4) If working, your most recent pay stub
