CARECEN provides free tattoo removals for young people ages 12-25 years who have visible gang-, trauma-, or violence-related tattoos, tattoos of ex-boyfriend or ex-girlfriend names, and tattoos that pose a threat to safety, especially tattoos that further isolate, pose a threat to personal safety, or prevent employment.

Eligibility descriptionYouth must have a San Francisco address with visible tattoos. Tattoos eligible for removal are violence-related, names of ex-partners, or anything posing a threat to your safety.
