ECAP accepts and distributes a variety of fresh fruits and vegetables, as well as canned goods and packaged foods throughout the year. Large quantities of bread are picked up from local retail outlets and distributed daily. They also distribute prepared food directly to community residents on a regular basis. They often distribute surplus items to local shelters, churches, senior programs, child care programs, and other programs with eligible participants. ECAP is able to purchase large quantities of food to stock their simulated farmer's market store in the parking lot for clients to make their own choice based on available foods.
