AccessMatters administers the Pennsylvania Breast and Cervical Cancer Early Detection Program (PA-BCCEDP) in Southeastern Pennsylvania. The Program provides free breast and cervical cancer screening and diagnostic services, as well as referrals to treatment when needed. AccessMatters contracts with 19 health care organizations that serve nearly 5,000 individuals through the PA-BCCEDP annually. Breast cancer screening is available to people age 40 years and older and to people between the ages of 21 and 39 years who are at high risk for developing breast cancer. Diagnostic care for breast cancer is available for those 18 and older.
