Disability Rights Legal Clinics are staffed by California State Bar licensed attorneys, and non-attorney disability rights advocates specializing in disability law. Benefits Counselors can answer questions regarding Social Security and other disability benefits. If you have been denied Social Security Disability benefits, DSLC will review your case and represent you in court if necessary. DSLC staff will also explain the rights of persons with disabilities under the many provisions of Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), as well as all other areas of Disability Law, including Housing, Employment, and Education. DSLC can also provide assistance in filing complaints and securing legal representation for persons with disabilities whose rights have been infringed upon under these laws.
