The San Francisco Unified School District and the Transitional Studies Department of City College of San Francisco offer credit recovery options for high-school students. Students have the opportunity to enroll in non-credit transitional studies courses free of charge in order to make up high-school courses and/or to earn credit to meet high school graduation requirements. Courses are available in the subject areas of math, English, science, and history, as well as courses for English Language Learners.
