The HUD-VASH Program is a partnership between the Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) and Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) for veterans (and their families) experiencing homelessness to find and sustain permanent housing. Qualified Veterans receive a specialized Housing Choice Voucher to be used at the rental of their choosing. In addition to the rental subsidy, eligible Veterans also receive ongoing VA services from VA Palo Alto Health Care System.
