You must request a hearing within 30 days after the ticket was issued to avoid paying late penalties. If DOF does not receive payment for the ticket or a hearing request, your ticket will go into judgment approximately 100 days after it is issued. You cannot have a hearing on your ticket in judgment if it is more than one year old.
