Latin American Youth Center (LAYC)
Information Status
Latin American Youth Center’s (LAYC) Safe Housing programs aim to help homeless youth find safe, stable housing. They offer a variety of services including a drop-in center, transitional housing, permanent supportive housing, and more. Housing programs include independent apartments or family-based placements specializing in young people who are pregnant or parenting, identify as LGBTQ, are recent immigrants, and/or are in or exiting foster care.

-Cannot be actively using drugs. If so, youth must participate in a treatment program.
-Must not be considered a danger to self or others
-Must be willing to comply with objectives agreed upon in his/her treatment plan.,
