The Division of Substance Abuse and Addiction Medicine offers the Opiate Treatment Outpatient Program (OTOP) to provide methadone detoxification and maintenance for heroin-dependent individuals, in addition to methadone dosing and counseling services.

Cost Details
OTOP accepts patients who have or are eligible for public insurance in the county including San Francisco Medi-cal, Healthy San Francisco and Healthy Workers. Veterans are also eligible for care. It does not accept private insurance or self-pay.
