"needed help to smog car that had sat over a year & had check engine light on when parked. was denied due to my tags being over 365 days old. Crazy! If my tags were less than 365 days old why would I be asking for their help. I obviously would not need their help because it must have passed smog for me to have my current tags. I am a retired white female who has worked her entire life & it seems every time I request help from our government I get turned down. Maybe I should go across the border, get a good tan & come back into the US as a foreigner then I would definitely get help. Unbelievable how differently the US citizens born & raised here are treated!"
